GiftHint may earn commissions when you buy through some links. Here's how that works and what it does not change about what gets recommended.
The deal
How this site makes money
Some of the product links here are affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra.
Affiliate links keep the lights on. They don't get a vote on what I recommend.
Independence
What money doesn't change
Commissions never decide the list
No product is here because it pays a higher commission. If it doesn't fit the guide, it comes off.
Honest pros and cons, always
I write the same tradeoffs whether a link earns me money or not. No softening for sponsors.
Best pick wins, link or not
If I can't find an affiliate link for the best option, I'll still recommend it and figure out the business side later.
No pay-to-play placements
Brands cannot pay for inclusion, higher ranking, or softer language. Every pick is editorially chosen.
Pricing
About prices
Prices change. The ranges I list are accurate when I publish, but retailers adjust pricing constantly. If you see an exact price on a product, it came from the retailer recently. Otherwise, I use approximations like “around $50” because I'd rather be roughly right than precisely wrong. Check the retailer's site for the current number.
